About Our Garden

Cross and Crown Lutheran Church is located in the suburban community of Rohnert Park, California. Located in Sonoma county's southern central plain, Rohnert Park is the county's third largest city. Our church is 1/2 mile from Sonoma State University and 1 1/2 miles east of Highway 101. The garden site is located on property owned by CCLC.

Garden mapOur 5500 square foot, fenced, gardensite includes 19 - 4'x10' raised garden boxes; a 10'x32' large crop area; small in-ground growing areas; a classroom/meeting area with a white board and tables; a 12'x8' coldframe/greenhouse; and a garden shed.

Since February 2007, our garden has been providing Petaluma Bounty with fresh, organic and seasonal produce that is distributed weekly, free of charge, to families in need. The purpose of this community outreach program is to support sustainable food systems in the commnunity with healthy, fresh food for everyone.
