Kim Burns
Parish Administrator and School Office Assistant

Kim wears many hats at Cross and Crown.  She has been a member of the church since 2001 and on staff since 2010.  She runs the office, oversees the volunteers, helps with children's ministries and is the liasion between the community and the church/school.

Kim and her husband, Tony, have three adult daughters, one son-in-law and another soon-to-be son-in-law, and two grandsons.  When Kim is not at work, she enjoys day trips around the area with Tony in his corvette.

Sharyl Golway
Worship Accompanist

I was adopted by a farming couple in Iowa. Like many Lutheran families at the time, we had a piano in the parlor. My parents were delighted when they heard their little girl playing melodies I had heard on the radio. They started me on piano lessons, which started me on a music career that spanned performing at Westminster Abbey to Jewish Synagogues, Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian and Episcopal churches.

Before coming to Faith Lutheran and Cross and Crown Lutheran Churches I was a certified music therapist at the State of California Veteran's Home. I currently perform at a senior living facility and Jack London Historic park. I love it all!

Mary Cornett
Chancel Choir Director

Mary and her husband and two adult children have been members of Cross and Crown since 2001.  She has been the choir director since 2016.

She has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a PhD in chemistry.  During the day she is a chemistry professor at Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University.  When she is not in the lab she plays principal second violin in the Sonoma County Philharmonic.

Caitlin Burns
Praise and Worship Band Leader

Caitlin has always loved to sing since she was a little girl.  She participated in school and church choirs.  In college, she attended Sonoma State University and received a degree in Music Education.  Music is in her blood.

When Caitlin is not singing, you can find her with her parents and fiance.  She enjoys cooking, movies, and playing board games with friends and family.
