What is the Mission Endowment Fund?

The Mission Endowment Fund is to promote Christian stewardship by encouraging giving of enduring gifts from bequests, estates, insurance, and other accumulated assets that will be used to further God's work through this congregation.

The fund will provide a structured means to receive and administer such gifts that are beyond those expected and supported through pledges, weekly worship offering or those designated for specific offerings.

Cross and Crown can receive a number of different charitable contributions.
  • Cash and Securities
  • Bequests and Wills
  • Retirement Plan Assets/IRAs
  • Life Insurance
  • Income Producing Plans
  • Charitable Lead Trusts
Your gift that keeps giving.

These gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by state and federal laws.  Please consult an attorney before finalizing all legacy gifts to Cross and Crown.

Gifts to Cross and Crown may be made one of two ways.  You may give a gift to the general fund where both the principal and earnings will be used to fund our current ministries where the need is greatest.  The other way is to make a gift to the Mission Endowment Fund where the gift will be invested and only the earning will be used for the purpose you have designated.

We thank you for considering a gift to Cross and Crown.
